Greetings everyone,

 

I am sure by now that most of you have heard that I have been offered and accepted the position of Event Director for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.  Although AIBF is very supportive of my role with the BFA I will eventually have to resign my role with the BFA since I am the Director for the Southeast and I will be relocating to New Mexico.  So it with mixed emotions and a heavy heart I would like to advise you that I have voluntarily resigned from my position as President of the BFA. I will remain on as the Southeast Director until a suitable replacement is chosen by the BFA Board.

I have enjoyed my time as your president and it has truly been an honor to serve you, the members.  I hope that I can continue to support the BFA and the membership in any way I can.  I sincerely thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve and I look forward to seeing many of you this year in Albuquerque.
