Description
We are excited to announce that our Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival was recently awarded the Black Hills and Badlands Tourism Association 2017 Special Achievement Award. After an extremely successful 2017 festival, which drew in 800 – 1000 visitors to our area, we are underway with planning our Third annual Fall River Hot Air Balloon Festival. We are inviting 20 – 25 Hot Air Balloons and Pilots to join us in Hot Springs, SD for the weekend of August 25th – 26th, 2018.
Registered pilots will be able to launch from the Hot Springs Airport just after sunrise on Saturday, August 25th and Sunday, August 26th, as well as participate in a Night Glow at the airport on Saturday night, August 25th, 2018 (all events are weather permitting).
