Perry Dogwood Festival Hot Air Balloon Rally

Join us for the 31st Perry Dogwood Arts Festival and Hot Air Balloon Rally in beautiful Perry, Georgia, April 12th through 14th 2019. The Arts Festival located in our historic downtown will host over a hundred and fifty unique vendors with our evening Hot Balloon Rally on the fields of the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter.

Our Hot Air Balloon Rally begins on Friday evening with a flight and small glow for our sponsors and local government officials, completing the evening with a Pilot party. Saturday morning and Sunday morning are scheduled for flying in the area. Our main event, Saturday evening will include thousands of spectators in an open field concept allowing them to learn more about and enjoy our sport. The event begins with a tribute flight for our Military and the Airmen and Airwomen from our local Robins Air Force Base. It continues with Balloon static displays, tethering, and finishes with a spectacular Balloon glow. Music, food, a Kids Zone, kite flying, and of course the Hot Air Balloons make for a family day with a park feel. If you are interested in honoring our military, promoting our sport and aviation… this is the event for you!

Plenty of things to do when you are not flying! Of course, there is the Downtown Arts Festival, the Vintage Tea and Ultimate Air Dogs Competition. Our hidden gem is the free Museum of Aviation housing so many displays that it is impossible to see them all in one visit.
