Description
This will be the 8th annual Up in the Air for Family Care rally held in Amarillo, TX. Flying is fun and challenging most years with winds near the upper end of our limitations. We usually have between 15 and 20 balloons, both shape and regular. The event is to raise money and awareness for the Family Care Foundation. The Family Care Foundation was conceived in 1997 for the purpose of providing medical care and equipment for patients and families in our community who demonstrate a need, but cannot otherwise obtain such services or equipment. The Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) community organization. All donations provided go directly to our community members who are in need of medical services or equipment. The Foundation is run by its Board of Directors.
